Installation What To Expect

Prior to Measurement
We require the decision maker be present at the time of measurement to review specifics regarding the project. All cabinets must be secured in their permanent location prior to the measuring process. All under-mount sink templates must be on site and available for accurate measurement. Please have countertops cleared on the morning we are scheduled to measure. Please note that all under-mount sink cut-outs will be in accordance with the manufacturer’s under-mount sink template specifications and any deviation from the manufacturer’s template must be submitted in writing accompanied by a modified \template. If the decision maker changes the UMS, there will be an up-charge.

Prior to Installation
We are not responsible for any plumbing, gas, or electrical work required to complete the installation of your new countertops. Prior to the installation date you will need to have the existing sink and cook-top disconnected. The sink and cook-top cut-out dimensions will meet the manufacturer’s specification for your on-site appliance and/or sink. If you have existing countertops and have not paid for the removal, please be sure to have all work complete prior to our arrival, the back splash will also have to be removed. If a wall or bar bracket is required for support, you should have the brackets installed prior to the installation of the countertop.

At time of Installation
The decision maker must be present at the time of installation. Please have all appliances, sinks, faucets, etc., on site at time of installation. Additional charges will be incurred for return trips.

In order to accomplish a successful installation, please help us by doing the following things:

  • Clear all countertops the morning we are scheduled to install.
  • Clear all household items from within the cabinet below your sink.
  • If you have a cook-top, clear all cooking utensils located in the cabinet below.
  • Make sure the sink and/or cook-top is disconnected.
  • If you have selected an under-mount sink model, please allow 24 hours for tops and sink to set prior to re-connecting the plumbing.
  • Installing countertops creates dust. We will try to contain the dust as best as our equipment allows, but we are not responsible for any dust that may settle in other areas of your home. We ask that you turn your AC off to prevent dust from spreading to other areas. Upon completion of installation, we will make every effort to leave your home as we found it.
